HOMECOMING :o)

So this last weekend Cam and I were able to go to alot of the Homecoming events up on Campus.
Saturday: We went to the parade in the morning, caught a slew of candy and SWAG! Cam caught a t-shirt (actually his right size if you can believe it) and I caught some squeeky cheese, what more could you ask for.
Then we went to the tailgate party, ate free food, won some candy, shaked out booty to the beat, then headed over to the game.
Where we almost beat Fresno State. It was such a good game and we had a rockin good time!
Friday: We got all dolled up for the Homecoming Dance and really busted a move!
We met up with Braden and some friends
and got our 'booty shakin on'

'Thugin' it up
in the Hip Hop
Room!!

Yeah for Fun @ the Dance!

Bang! Bam! Boom!

So on Monday I was driving the scooter to work on 400 E by the Post Office, and this woman making a left hand turn out of the post office CRASHED RIGHT INTO ME!! Throwing me off my bike, and totalling the poor little thing. Ripping off its seat, bending the alignment, and crunching in the whole right side of the car. Though I was thrown off, and bounced off the asphalt I left with nothing more then my right foot being banged up a little. So a word to all of you "wear your helmets!!" Truly if I wouldn't have had that thing on, this situation would be looking a lot more different. The Lord has blessed our life in so many ways, and his watching and protection over me in that accident is just one example. With in this one accident there were so many people that listened to the prompting of the Holy Ghost and made the whole situation change its angle.
When Cam was walking out in the morning, at the last minute decided to take the helmet instead of the beany he had in his hand. Thus making it so that I had it when i switched him for the scooter on my way to work.
After I was hit, when I was laying in the road I was so frightened and didn't know what was going on, I prayed that someone would just hold me hand and help me feel some peace. Then this old woman walked out of her house, came over to me and bent down, she held and stroked my hand telling me "that everything is going to be ok, it's all ok." And truly helped me feel so comforted and at peace.
I didn't know how I was going to get to the Hospital because I didn't want to ride in the Ambulance, but I didn't know anyone there to ask for a ride. Then Tamera Rawlings appeared around the corner. Saying: she was headed to the post office and when she saw the cars, she decided to go to the bank first, but then felt a need to go to the Post Office first, where she then saw my scooter, and was able to give that familiar face I was needing, and also the ride to the Hospital.
The Lord watches over each and everyone of us through our different trials in life. He never leaves us abandon and afraid. There are angles all around us each and everyday. Those on the other side of the Vail, and those here in this life with us.
Thank you so much!! To everyone who has been an angle in both Cam's and my life, each and every day.

Its a Wonderful Life!

Cam and I have been married almost 4 months now :o) It truly has been the best 4 months of my life! I never imagined that things could be this good. No matter how hard things get in life, its ok, because no matter what I have Cam with me.
Ok, ok, enough mush.

Cam is currently working at Eldwards Furniture, lifting a thousand tons a day, giving him the biggest muscles know to man!
I am at North Park working in my mom's Sped classroom, and at Six Star (the best dollar store around) so basicly i get to: study about kids in the morning, play with them in the afternoon, and go play with toys for them in the evening... turns out to be some pretty good days.

Right now we are both going to school up at USU! GO AGGIES!!! Cam is studying Elementary Education and loving it! I am studying Special Education which is absolutely wonderful!

We are planning on going up to Alaska for the summer, where Cam will do some "he-man" roofing. Then the last 3 weeks before school starts we are going to be heading down to El Salvador!!!!! We are way excited! I cant wait to see where Cam served his mission and the people/culture that he fell in love with down there :o)
